Gum Bichromate Prints
by Alan Dehmer
On Display or ask to see more
Mr Dehmer has made photographs and taught photography for many years. For some time he has given up public education in favor of private workshops featuring his signature style of multiple pass gum bichromate printing. This process requires producing negatives the same size as the final print, and each color requires a new coating of light-sensitive emulsion onto the printing paper. Mr. Dehmer also makes frames for each of his prints, stained to compliment the image. Please inquire about his works, including a hand-bound about the gum process. The book was written, printed and bound by the artist.
